What guests ask before booking a stay.
Do I need riding experience to book a ranch stay?
Not at all. Most of our guests are new to horses. Rides are matched to your comfort level, and time in the saddle is entirely optional.
Is the ranch good for families?
Yes. The ranch-style vacation home stays suit families well, and we can build the stay around kid-friendly ranch time. Guided trail rides are for ages 7 and up.
How far is the ranch from San Diego?
We are in Poway, in the San Diego County backcountry — a straightforward drive from central San Diego, North County, and the coast.
What is included in a stay?
Accommodation plus access to the ranch and its rhythm. Guided rides, lessons, and add-on experiences are booked alongside your stay — tell us what you want and we will put it together.
Can you host a group or a private event?
