How the Day Runs

Arrive and meet the horses

Guests are welcomed at the ranch and introduced to the horses, with a short safety and handling briefing pitched at their age.

Pony rides and ranch time

Kids rotate through the pony ride stations while the rest explore the ranch, meet the animals, and burn off the sugar they have not eaten yet.

Cake in the party space

Everyone gathers in your shaded area for food, cake, and presents once the riding is done.

Birthday Party Questions

What parents ask before booking.

What ages are the parties suitable for?

Pony rides are led at walking pace and work well for young children, including those who have never been near a horse. For older kids who want a real ride, we can build the party around a guided trail ride instead — those run for ages 7 and up.

How many guests can we bring?

Up to 30 guests. If your list is longer than that, call us and we will talk through what is workable.

When are parties available?

Weekend dates are the norm. Weekday parties are sometimes possible around our camps and ride schedule — ask and we will check the calendar.

What does it cost?

Parties are quoted individually, since guest count, ride format, and add-ons all change the shape of the day. Tell us what you have in mind and we will send you a price.

Can we bring our own food and cake?

Yes. The party space is yours for the session — bring your own catering, cake, and decorations on top of ours if you like.

What should the kids wear?

Long pants and closed-toe shoes for anyone going on a pony. Sunscreen and hats are a good idea year-round; helmets and all equipment are provided.

What happens if it rains?

San Diego weather rarely gets in the way, but if conditions are genuinely unsafe for riding we will work with you to reschedule.

Beats a bouncy castle.

Tell us the date, the age, and roughly how many are coming — we'll build the party around it.
